The company was named after my grandmother. When I was a kid, we used to create beautiful garments together. I used to sit at her kitchen table drawing dreamy dresses and she would interpret the sketches with fabric and her sewing machine. Her maiden name was Fajers, pronounced fires. To me it represents the fire she had inside of her as much as the fire we all have inside of us.
